Thinksoft gets CII excellence award

BSE-listed Thinksoft Global Services Ltd. has won CII Exim Award for Business Excellence, 2009 intituted by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) for specialising in helping global financial sector firms to significantly improve the quality of their applications, software and systems.

Instituted by Confederation of Indian Industry and Export-Import Bank of India, the award marks significance of the company. Through their domain focus, structured methodologies, offshore delivery centers and test automation expertise, clients realise “business ready software”, compress timelines and reduce software product life cycle costs.

“Such a distinctive recognition will propel us all to work towards getting the top honour next year,” said Asvini Kumar, Managing Director of Thinksoft Global Services Ltd on the occasion.

Thinksoft participated in the category of small and medium businesses and the jury assessed the participants on various parameters including process efficiency, HR practices, and organisational growth from inception, business model and innovations in offerings.

CII and Export-Import (EXIM) Bank of India jointly established the Award for Business Excellence in 1994 with the aim to enhance the ‘Competitiveness of India Inc.’ The award is based on the EFQM (European Foundation for Quality Management) model for excellence.
